Attend Music Classes with Us

One of our wonderful teachers, Miss Karen in Twos Preschool Orange, has a degree in Music Education and specialized in Early childhood Music for birth through age seven. She will be conducting music classes for all age groups to include music and movement with a focus on early childhood development. She will be using music as a tool to learn many skills including motor, social, listening, attention, eye tracking, eye/hand coordination, creativity, language, vocal, self control, dancing and playing instruments. They will be having so much fun they won’t even realize they’re learning! Studies have proven that early music education is one of the best ways to boost early childhood development.

Each weekly lesson is part of a monthly theme so the kids have a chance to get familiar with the music and activities. Each lesson has a musical focus (high/low, loud/quiet, smooth/bumpy, fast/slow, etc) AND a developmental focus (motor, social, listening/attention, inhibitory control, etc)/ Each lesson will include at least one instrument, one prop, and two movement activities. In addition, each monthly theme will introduce a non-class instrument.
